• There are 2 types of media detection method; AUTO and MAMUAL.

Switch the type of media detection method in [Machine setup] > [Media Detect] > [DETECTION TYPE].
* When using media such as transparent sheet which cannot be detected by "AUTO", set to "MANUAL".
* There is no ROLL / LEAF switching setting of the conventional model.

< When DETECTION TYPE is "AUTO" >
1. Lower the clamp lever.
2. Press "<" key.

< When DETECTION TYPE is "MANUAL" >
1. Lower the clamp lever.
2. Press "<" key.
3. Specify the print start position by "<" and ">" keys.

* Do not use the media holder when printing on thicker media.  
　The media holder may rise up, causing a media jam or damage to the head nozzle.
* A notification reading "Media Set Position R" will appear after media width detection if the media is
　too far to the right of the specified position.
