About this Upgrade software

• FineCut9 serial key or FineCut/Coat9 serial key is required after software updating.
• Free upgrade to FineCut/Coat9 from FineCut8 is available if you have FineCut8 CD-ROM.
• How to issue a FineCut9 serial key from FineCut8 CD-ROM, please see here.

About installer and others

• When installing RasterLinkTools Ver1.12.0 or less after installing this version, Outline Tools of FineCut/Coat9 may not work properly. Please refer to here to take measure.
• FineCut/Coat9 can be used in CorelDRAW Graphic Suite 2023 one-time purchase Ver24.4 or later. Refer to here to check the CorelDRAW version.

The following functions have been change

[Ver2.7 -> Ver3.0]

- Improved function -

1. CFX series is supported.
   • Free Register Marks function
     To improve the accuracy of the alignment of the cuts, register marks can be arranged at any location.
   • V-Cut Tool function
     By cutting the folds with the V-Cut tool, the thick media folds can be sharpened.
   • Edge Detection function
     Detects the edge of the work and corrects the cut position and tilt. When a register mark is detected and cut the object from the back surface, it can be cut without using the mark tip by using the edge detection together.
   • Teaching Register Marks function
     By using a camera eqipped to CFX and specifying the register mark position by Teaching, you can accurately cut the outline of printed materials with other manufactures' register mark.

1. UCJV330 series is supported.

-Fixed bugs -

1. Mimaki Driver can be installed when installing FineCut, but you cannot install it in the Windows 11 environment because of the older version.

[Ver2.4 -> Ver2.6]

1. CorelDRAW Graphics / Technical Suite 2023 is supported.
   When using one-time purchase verision, use CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023 Ver24.4 or later.

- Improved function -

1. Mimaki Register marks SDK is supported.
   Register marks which created based on the Mimaki Register marks SDK with third party software can be recognized by FineCut.
2. CorelDRAW Graphics / Technical Suite 2022 is supported.

1. CG-AR series is supported.
   With the division cutting function, cut misalignment due to sheet meandering can be suppressed.

1. When the cut data is created using the following functions, it is printed by RasterLink5.

1. Origin is shifted when Origin Lock is ON and move object by using Direct Select Tool.
2. When outputting ID cut without register marks, the print and the cut line are out of alignment.
3. Even if EPS option or Adobe PDF save dialog is canceled with ID cut, the cut command is outputted.

1. Camera for Gravotech laser is now supporeted.
   • The register marks are detected by the cameraautomatically to output.
   • The new function can be used only by the Gravotech laser model with camera.

-Fixed bugs -

1. In some models, wrong value was displayed as a recommended register mark size in FineCut. The wrong value has been corrected.
2. The output condition setting function by each color and layer for CF3 (M head) can be now used.
3. When register marks were recognized during CF3 (M head), the cut preview display was misaligned. The problem has been improved.

1. CJV300 Plus is supported.

New functions of FineCut/Coat9

1. It can be now outputted directly to Trotec Speedy 100/300/360/400.
   It can be outputted by the procedure that outputs to Mimaki plotter.
   Register mark cut can be done by manually adjusting the RED pointer of the laser machine to the printed register mark.
2. It can be now outputted directly to Gravotech LS series.
   (Gravotech driver installation is required.)
   It can be outputted by procedure that outputs to Mimaki plotter.
   Register mark cut can be done by manually adjusting the RED pointer of the laser machine to the printed register mark.
3. CJV300 Plus is supported.
4. CG-FXII Plus is supported.
